New Orleans Saints set to sign former Kentucky standout T.J. Carter
Former Kentucky pass-rusher T.J. Carter is getting another shot in the NFL, this time with the New Orleans Saints.
As NFL preseason play begins to ramp up, Pro Football Network’s Aaron Wilson reports that the Saints are in the process of signing the former Wildcat after a workout with the team.
Carter previously worked out for the San Francisco 49ers last week.
The 6-foot-4, 289-pound defensive end initially signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He then played in the preseason with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021, his last stint in the NFL.
