'NFL RedZone' has avoided disaster scenario in 2025

The National Football League is an absolute machine but the king of sports nearly had to deal with a disaster in 2025. Could you imagine “NFL RedZone” without host Scott Hanson? I definitely could not. Well, that nearly happened.
After weeks of speculation that Scott Hanson could be moving on from the best show running in sports, the popular studio host confirmed that he will back for seven hours of commercial-free (or just RedZone) football on fall Sundays.
Let the countdown begin.
Scott Hanson was a free agent after his previous contract expired. The broadcaster has signed a long-term extension to return to the NFL Network’s incredibly entertaining highlight show that shows games from across the league at the same time every Sunday.

“NFL RedZone” rules. It probably would’ve ruled less without Scott Hanson. Crisis averted.
