Kentucky transfer Noah Matthews signs with Delaware
Another former Kentucky player has found a new college football home. Noah Matthews was a surprise addition to the program’s 2022 high school signing class and the EDGE player left the program after three seasons. Now Matthews is returning home.
The redshirt junior with two years of eligibility remaining signed with Delaware on Tuesday.
The Blue Hens won an FCS national title in 2003, but just wrapped up their final season in this subdivision. Delaware will become a full-time C-USA member in 2025 and will be an FBS program in the fall. Noah Matthews is a Bridgeville (Del.) High product who will return home to play for the state school.
