Noah Thompson sang Sundy Best while quarantined for 'American Idol' Top 7

Noah Thompson was among the seven finalists who performed for the last five spots of the current season of American Idol. However, the Louisa, Kentucky native was dealt a bad hand in the competition after he tested positive for COVID only two weeks before the show’s finale.
On Sunday’s episode, Thompson fought through the virus and sang from his hotel room as he competed to stay alive in the contest’s latest round. At a disadvantage without the big stage and Idol theatrics, Thompson still gave it his best with two must-see performances in quarantine.
