KSR Social Media Manager

Kentucky Sports Radio is looking for a social media manager who is passionate and knowledgeable about college football, basketball, and recruiting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works well in a team environment and possesses strong communication skills. This position will help our social media team with story ideas and copy editing. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the KSR brand and have a flexible schedule. Candidate must live in Lexington, Kentucky or surrounding areas OR be willing to relocate for the position.

Responsibilities

• Create timely content and help with the various social media accounts including Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok
• Work with editorial & graphics teams to create social media content on topical news
• Execute social media strategies
• Must be able to work under a deadline

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of social media experience
• Basic understanding of adobe creative cloud products
• Video and editing experience
• Knowledge of Twitter, Instagram, & TikTok algorithms.
• Flexible schedule
