You're looking at Daniel Giddens, a freshman center at Ohio State who is transferring, and according to Jon Rothstein, is interested in Kentucky. Rothstein tweeted this afternoon that Giddens is considering Kentucky, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Georgia, and Mississippi State as possible destinations. The 6'10" center from Mableton, Georgia played in 33 games this past season for the Buckeyes, averaging 3.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in 18.2 minutes. Giddens was once a four-star prospect, and is now the third Buckeye to announce his transfer in the last two days, joining freshman guard AJ Harris and freshman forward Mickey Mitchell. According to the Columbus Dispatch, Giddens is leaving Ohio State for family reasons. Who knows if the interest is mutual between UK and Giddens, but can you blame the kid for wanting to come to Kentucky? What college basketball player wouldn't?
