On3's Joe Tipton updates the recruitments of Cason Wallace, Adem Bona

Kentucky has locked up early commitments from five-star seniors Shaedon Sharpe, Chris Livingston and Skyy Clark, with the program zeroed in on two final recruits to round out the class of 2022.
Cason Wallace
The first? Top-ten guard Cason Wallace, who is set to decide between Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas, and UTSA on his birthday, November 7.
In a premium piece breaking down the latest on the nation’s top uncommitted prospects, On3 national recruiting insider Joe Tipton dropped a nugget on Wallace that should leave Kentucky fans excited.
“Kentucky has been the presumed leader for well over a month and it would be a shock to see him land anywhere else,” Tipton said of Wallace.
Wallace comes in at No. 7 overall in the latest On3 players rankings. Should Kentucky add the five-star guard, it would give the program three top-seven commitments in the class of 2022, joining Sharpe (No. 1) and Livingston (No. 4).
Adem Bona
The second and final piece Kentucky is looking to add leading up to the early signing period? Five-star center Adem Bona, who is set to decide between Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA and the NBL in the coming weeks.

What does Tipton think? It’ll come down to Kentucky and UCLA, with the former seen as the longtime favorite and the latter picking up steam in recent weeks.
“UCLA, Kansas, and Kentucky are the main three schools involved,” Tipton wrote. “Kentucky is the presumed leader, but UCLA could give them a good run for their money. A decision is expected towards the end of October but could be pushed back into November.”
Bona is ranked No. 13 overall by On3, good for No. 3 among centers in the class. The only centers ranked ahead of him are Dereck Lively (No. 2) and Kel’el Ware (No. 10). Should Bona join the fold with Wallace, Kentucky would have four top-15 commitments and five top-25 pledges leading up to the early signing period. That is set to begin starting Nov. 10.
