One-on-One: Mark Stoops sits down with KSR at SEC Media Days
We promised you that Kentucky Sports Radio was cranking it up a notch at this year’s SEC Media Days. We weren’t lying.
After attending the event for more than a decade, this year for the first time the Kentucky head football coach took some time out of his incredibly busy day to sit down for a one-on-one interview with KSR on Radio Row. It’s a decision Mark Stoops may regret.
The foundation of the five-minute conversation is all about his new-look Kentucky football team. With Devin Leary under center and a deep group of talented wide receivers, is he ready to deploy a more pass-happy offense? Mark Stoops did not dodge any questions, even when he was reminded that KSR is covering his program in the most ridiculous manner possible.
To live up to our company’s mission, I asked a question few are bold enough to ask. Bold is probably not the right word. Fully prepared to eat a knuckle sandwich if things went sideways, I concluded the candid conversation by asking, “Is it time to come home?”
