I thought Kentucky took the crown for Uniform of the Year with the all-black, chrome helmet look against South Carolina. And then Oregon went completely Oregon with this week's look and regained the title as Best Dressed. The Ducks will wear a retro uniform against Washington this Saturday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of "The Pick," a 97-yard game-winning interception return for a touchdown to beat Washington and win the 1994 conference title: This week's vintage attire will honor the historic play, while poking the Huskies. It features the same colors, font and old Oregon logo and Nike will sell like a bajillion of them when they go on sale in the Oregon store.     Wednesday's football practice was "very good," says D.J. Eliot. "We had a lot of intensity," he said afterward. "Guys were flying around, communicating, playing physical and making plays. That's what we needed to have on a Wednesday." Eliot believes his players are ready to head down to Baton Rouge for the big game in Tiger Stadium. He liked the tempo of practice and doesn't foresee another slow start like the one against Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday. You need to take a look at these renderings of UK's new football practice facility. See more here. Mark Stoops said, "I could not be more pleased with the way it turned out. I just think it's going to be a building that's very functional. We'll get great use out of it. It's an area that we really had to look hard to help with player development, whether it be the weight room, the training room, the high performance area and all those things. You know, just could not be more pleased." Changing the game! J.D. Harmon is your suspended player. Mark Stoops let it be known on the SEC teleconference that Harmon is the suspended player he spoke of on Monday. The sophomore cornerback will sit out the first half for a nasty hit he delivered to an unsuspecting Louisiana-Monroe special teams player on a UK punt return. Stoops said he spoke with the league office about the helmet-to-helmet shot and decided it would be best to give Harmon a first half suspension at LSU. UK with an update on Brad Durham: Durham, the former lineman who fell from the upper-level late in the South Carolina game, is improving, according to @UKAthletics: "Brad Durham, the former UK Football player injured at the South Carolina game, is improving and will need rehab during his ongoing recovery. #BBN, help with Brad's mounting medical expenses at all Central Bank locations. The fund is called 'Brad Durham Donation Account.'" It's amazing the situation isn't much worse than it is. "Lockup Louisville" on MSNBC is quality television.  Check out those hobbies. Antonio Blakeney will not attend Big Blue Madness. Five-star shooting guard Antonio Blakeney was planning to take an unofficial visit to Kentucky Friday night for Big Blue Madness but that plan has since changed. Blakeney -- who decommitted from Louisville because Adidas makes uncomfortable shoes and all the cool kids wear Nike -- will instead visit another time, to be determined some other time. Your updated guest list now looks like this: Carlton Bragg, Jaylen Brown, Brandon Ingram, Charles Matthews, Malik Newman, Stephen Zimmerman, Tyus Battle, and Derryck Thornton. Drake's appearance is also in jeopardy. Thursday is UK Basketball Media Day. Be sure to check out KSR for a ton of coverage from the Joe Craft Center Thursday afternoon as the program opens its doors to reporters and journalists. And me. Go Cats.
