img_0904 Attention Kentucky fans & art lovers! The popular "Wildcat Legends" Fine Art Series, which just released its latest art work print last weekend to honor Dan Issel, will exhibit many of its original oil paintings this Saturday during the UK-UCLA game. Large canvases of featured "legends" Tony Delk, Jack Givens, Kenny Walker, Mike Pratt and Coach Joe B. Hall -- all autographed by the featured player -- will be on display. In addition, the oversized painting created to honor UK's historic 1978 NCAA Championship team will be featured in this gallery exhibit. (See photo.) Created by national sports artist and Kentucky native, David Bryan Blondell, the exhibit will be held in the Rupp Arena/Lexington Center Mall foodcourt, in front of "Your Frame Of Mind Galleries," immediately before and after the 12:30 pm game. Mr. Blondell will be on hand to sign posters of both his 1978 art AND his 2012 Championship art, as well as answer any questions about the creation of the "Wildcat Legends" series. There is no charge to view the exhibit, and prints and posters of all the art will be available for purchase for that special Wildcat fan. The "Wildcat Legends" Fine Art Series is proudly presented by "Your Frame Of Mind Gallery" and "Kennedy's Wildcat Den" in Lexington.
