Oscar Rios is one of the top uncommitted quarterback prospects remaining in the 2026 high school class. The Cats are very much in the mix for the Southern California native. Rios is a former Purdue commit who re-opened his recruitment after offensive coordinator Graham Harrell was fired midseason last year. Last month, the blue-chip quarterback released his finalists: UK, Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Utah, and Virginia Tech.
The quarterback has a big summer ahead with a plethora of official visits and a final decision eventually made. There will also be the Elite 11 camp competition in that middle of that busy month.
Kentucky is a contender for two of the best quarterbacks in high school football.
