Oscar Tshiebwe, Isaiah Wong settle Kentucky vs. Miami bet
Kentucky beat Miami almost a month ago, but a former Cat and a former Cane waited until the holidays to settle a bet over it. Oscar Tshiebwe and Isaiah Wong are teammates on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Indiana Pacers’ G-League affiliate. Before the Kentucky-Miami game on Nov. 28, the two agreed to a friendly wager: the player whose team lost would don the others’ old jersey in practice.
As we all know, Kentucky won 95-73. Yesterday, Oscar was all too happy to deliver Wong his old Kentucky jersey, the perfect Christmas present.

It’s been a busy month for Oscar. He spent four games with the Pacers, during which he played in the NBA In-Season Tournament Championship, scored his first NBA point (and got to take the game ball home despite some drama with Giannis Antetokounmpo), and put up a career-high eight points vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves. He’s back with the Mad Ants now and averaged a double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds) during the Showcase Cup.
Here’s some Oscar goodness for your Wednesday. The Mad Ants are back in action tonight at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
