Big Blue Nation is mentally anguished from worrying about the fact Kentucky only has seven scholarship players on the team as of May 28th, just three days prior to the NBA draft withdrawal deadline where the future of Chris Livingston, Antonio Reeves, and Oscar Tshiebwe hangs in the balance.
Although he claims to be torn on the decision, one of those guys, Oscar Tshiebwe, does not seem necessarily stressed. The complete opposite, actually.
Big O posted a video of himself taking a quick break during a workout to sing and dance along to the Toy Story classic, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.”
Is Oscar sending a coded message?
Does this video contain some kind of secret meaning? Is this code that might hint about the direction he is leaning? After all, the video starts off at the point in the song where the lyrics go, “You’ve got troubles, I’ve got ’em too.” Is Oscar sending a low-key message to Big Blue Nation that even though this has been a rough process for all of us, he’ll be coming back to college because we have a friend in him?
Or perhaps it is a farewell, stating that even though he is leaving for the pros, Kentucky fans will always have a friend in him?

Maybe. Probably not.
This is more than likely Oscar just being the happy-go-lucky awesome human that Kentucky fans have grown to love over the last two years. Sure, fans have been frustrated at times with his pick-and-roll defense and the overall team success has been underwhelming during his time in Lexington, but videos like this remind us of the reasons so many Kentuckians have endeared themselves to Tshiebwe.
Even amidst one of the most stressful periods in his life, on the brink of one of the biggest decisions of his career, he is not only grinding away at the gym but he is going about it in the most joyful way possible.
If nothing else, it serves as a good lesson to us all that, despite life’s stressors, we should probably take more time to relax and enjoy the ride.
