Overtime Elite signs four-star 2022 guard Bryce Griggs
Another highly-ranked recruit is taking the Overtime Elite path to the pros. 2022 four-star guard Bryce Griggs tells On3’s Joe Tipton he is skipping his senior year of high school and college to sign a two-year $1.2 million deal with Overtime Elite (OTE).
Kentucky was not in the picture for Griggs, who chose OTE over Texas, Baylor, Houston, Memphis, Kansas, and LSU; however, Griggs is looking to bring some of the Cats’ top 2022 targets with him. Griggs is recruiting five-star combo guard Nick Smith, five-star forward Chris Livingston, and five-star forward Brandon Miller to join him. All three have offers from Kentucky.

“I’m gonna talk to Nick Smith this weekend,” Bryce Griggs said. “Just always recruiting and trying to get other great players around you. Just trying to build this organization up as best we can. So, definitely Nick Smith, Chris Livingston, Brandon Miller. We’re gonna try to land them three and call it a closed deal.”
Earlier this week, Jazian Gortman, the No. 1 point guard in the country, announced he was skipping his senior year and signing with OTE, joining fellow top prospects Jalen Lewis, Amen and Ausar Thompson, Matt Bewley, Ryan Bewley, and Jai Smith. The league begins in September.
