This week, the top high school basketball players in the country are in North Augusta, South Carolina for the Nike EYBL Peach Jam, the premiere grassroots tournament of the summer. KSR’s Jack Pilgrim and Jacob Polacheck are en route to the event as we speak, but it just got even easier for those of us at home to do some scouting as well.

The Peach Jam is now available to stream on the NBA app for the first time ever. Today through Saturday, 20 games will stream on the NBA app, culminating with the 16U and 17U semifinals. Eight of those games will also be simulcast to NBATV. Adam Finkelstein and John Fanta, who guest-hosted KSR last week, are on the call.

The NBA App is free to download here. You can also watch it in a web browser. If you want to go a little deeper, every Peach Jam game is available to stream on the Nike EYBL website and Twitch.

Here’s the schedule for the NBA app and NBATV, including which of Kentucky’s targets are in action. July 6-9 is also an evaluation period, meaning you could see some coaches in the crowd as well.

Peach Jam Day 1 and 2 Standouts

Zack Geoghegan provided a full preview of the Peach Jam on Monday, including a schedule of when Kentucky’s targets are playing. Jack and Jacob will be churning out content when they arrive in North Augusta this afternoon, but Jamie Shaw has been on the scene all week providing coverage for On3. On Monday, 2024 four-star shooting guard Jalil Bethea, who told KSR last month that seeing John Calipari is like seeing God, was one of Shaw’s top performers.

You can be sure that Jalil Bethea is going to go out and produce numbers. He has done it all travel season long, averaging 18.6 points, and leading the best team on Nike’s EYBL Circuit in scoring during the regular season. The long-armed 6-foot-4 guard also shot 42.6 percent from three.

Bethea’s Team Final squad took home a 12-point win on day one of Peach Jam. Bethea went out and did what he has done all season, finishing with 19 points on 7-for-11 from the field and 3-for-6 from three. He plays with an extra sense of confidence, playing aggressive defense and talking a little bit of that talk on the floor. Bethea bumped up to No. 14 in the recent 2024 On3 150 update.

Jamie Shaw, On3

Yesterday, 2024 five-star point guard Tre Johnson earned Day 2 MVP honors from Shaw.

With one day in between playing in the third-place game of the FIBA u19 World Cup in Hungary, Tre Johnson showed up in South Carolina for a 31-point outburst.

Johnson has a projectable frame with excellent length. Where he excels is his footwork in the half-court. He gets to his spots off two and three dribbles and has an array of counters if he gets cut off. He has good touch and plays with great balance, no matter which level. Even as scoring was his first option, he showed solid passing ability with court vision.

Johnson is the No. 2 player in the 2024 On3 150. He finished with 31 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Jamie Shaw, On3

Brandon Ramsey has also been on the sidelines this week scouting Kentucky’s targets. He’s sharing his thoughts on KSBoard, where we’ve got a lively discussion rolling on the next crop of potential Wildcats. Cooper Flagg vs. Cameron Boozer, the top two players in the On3 2025 rankings, was apparently quite the showdown this morning.
