Peach Jam is back with 12-day event in July

[caption id="attachment_353888" align="alignnone" width="2560"] (Photo by Brian Rothmuller/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images)[/caption] The Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) announced on Friday that its biggest boys and girls events are returning in July, with Peach Jam taking place from July 13-25 in North Augusta, Georgia for the boys and Nike Nationals taking place in North Augusta from July 21-25. Typically a long weekend every summer, Peach Jam will be a two-week event for the first time in league history and will likely host all participating teams. Nike Nationals, which is usually held annually in Chicago, is also being played in North Augusta for the first time in history. Here is the complete list of 2021 EYBL teams Nike released earlier this year:

Back in 2019, there were four weekends on the EYBL schedule ranging from April to July, including three sessions followed by Peach Jam in North Augusta. This year, NCAA evaluation (live) periods are scheduled from July 8-11, July 16-18 and July 23-25, meaning coaches will be allowed to attend in person both weekends of Peach Jam. There are also live periods scheduled at the NBA Draft Combine from June 21-27, along with individual evaluation periods from June 18-20 and June 25-27. Outside of the aforementioned live periods, July 6-31 will be a dead period. With the dates for Peach Jam now finalized, here is an updated look at the live period dates in July across all shoe circuits:
  • Peach Jam - July 13-25
  • UAA (Session 1, Cartersville, GA) - July 8-11
  • UAA (Session 2, Frisco, TX) - July 16-18
  • UAA Finals (Westfield, IN) - July 23-25
  • Adidas 3SSB (Live 1, Birmingham, AL) - July 8-11
  • Adidas 3SSB (Live 2, Omaha, NE) - July 16-18
