Philadelphia G-League affiliate wore SpongeBob Squarepants uniforms last night
Last night, the Delaware 87ers, G-League affiliate for the Philadelphia 76ers, wore some pretty… interesting uniforms.
The team rocked SpongeBob Squarepants uniforms on Nickelodeon night, where ticket sales and jersey auction proceeds were donated to charity. The charity involved was CHILD, Inc., an organization dedicated to help and serve dependent, neglected and abused children and their parents.
Former No. 2 overall pick Emeka Okafor modeled the uniform before the game.

Pretty wild ride for the former UCONN Husky.
This probably isn't what former NCAA champ, #2 NBA Draft pick & NBA Rookie of the Year Emeka Okafor was hoping for when he decided to make a NBA comeback attempt. But he looks happy!

Back in 2015, Minor League baseball’s Norfolk Tides wore similar uniforms.
Who wore it better?
Speaking of SpongeBob, the Jacksonville Jaguars are promoting teal beer, buns, and ice cream for the NFL Playoffs, and Stephen Johnson had the perfect response:

I never thought I’d spend an afternoon writing about SpongeBob Squarepants on KSR, but here we are.
Nonetheless, awesome gesture for the Delaware 87ers to donate a night of ticket sales and jersey auction proceeds to to charity.
