POINT SPREAD: Kentucky is an Underdog at Ole Miss
The Kentucky Wildcats are reeling in the middle of the SEC play. They’ve lost three of four and don’t have their starting point guard, Lamont Butler. To make matters worse, the Cats have to bounce back against a Top 25 team on the road. Not ideal!
Kentucky is a 2.5-point underdog at Ole Miss. The total is 155.5. That’s a projected final score of around 78.5-76.
Kenpom has a final score projection of 80-77. Bart Torvik calls for an 81-78 Ole Miss victory.
Even though the task may be daunting, it’s actually a good thing that the Wildcats are a dog. Kentucky is 0-6 Against the Spread (ATS) as a favorite over unranked power conference foes. Mark Pope has covered the spread and won outright in four games as an underdog this season.
