Kentucky has earned the Rupp Arena advantage on Saturday as the folks in the desert are liking the Wildcats’ chances against No. 4 Alabama.

In what is expected to be a high-scoring, high-entertainment battle, the Crimson Tide are coming to town as slight underdogs with the opening line sitting at -2.5 in favor of the good guys. The over/under has been set at 178.5 total points.

KenPom and Bart Torvik both project wins for UK, the former going with a 90-89 victory and the latter rolling with a 93-92 final score — about as close as you can get. ESPN’s BPI likes the Wildcats by 0.6 points while giving the home team a 52.3 percent chance to pull off the win.

Kentucky has covered the spread in four of its last five games and is now 6-5 ATS at Rupp Arena this season, 9-8 on the year overall. After covering in five straight matchups, Alabama had its first slip-up against No. 21 Ole Miss as a 12-point favorite. The Tide are now 9-8 ATS on the year, including 5-4 away from home.
