There’s no time to let that winning feeling linger. The Wildcats are preparing for another big game at Rupp Arena. Kentucky hosts Texas A&M this Tuesday night in a clash of Top 25 teams.

The handicappers in Las Vegas are forecasting a close one. Kentucky opens as a 4.5-point favorite over Texas A&M with a total of 154.5.

KenPom gives the Cats a 60% chance to win and predicts a final score of 80-77. Bart Torvik is a little more bullish on the Big Blue, giving a final score prediction of 81-76. Each computer ranking has the Wildcats at No. 3 in adjusted offensive efficiency.

It’s unclear if Wade Taylor IV will be available in Tuesday night’s matchup against Kentucky. Their leading scorer (15.7 points per game) has missed the last two games with an undisclosed injury.

Zhuric Phelps is handling the heavy lifting just fine without Taylor IV. He had 34 points in a mid-week win at No. 17 Oklahoma, then put up 24 in a six-point loss at home to No. 5 Alabama.

Texas A&M is 10-6 Against the Spread (ATS) this season. A&M bettors were on quite a heater until that Alabama game. The Aggies covered in seven straight contests before the Crimson Tide came to Reed Arena. The over has hit in three of the last four games.

Kentucky has covered the spread in three of its last four games. Kentucky is 5-5 ATS at Rupp Arena this season.
