Quaintance, Fland named to 2024 Nike Hoop Summit USA roster
Planning on being in Phoenix in, say, early April? You might want to stay out West another week-plus. After celebrating one Final Four, you can check out a pair of future Wildcats who could help Kentucky make its next one just a hop, skip and a jump away.
Five-star signees Jayden Quaintance and Boogie Fland have been named to the USA men’s roster for the 2024 Nike Hoop Summit, scheduled for Saturday, April 13 in Portland, Oregon.
The pair of Wildcats join a roster that includes Ace Bailey, David Castillo, Isaiah Evans, Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, Ian Jackson, Morez Johnson Jr., Tre Johnson, Asa Newell, Patrick Ngongba II. USA will be coached by Sharman White of Pace Academy (GA) and assisted by Frank Bennett of Chaminade College Prep (MO) and Nick LoGalbo of Lane Technical College Prep (IL).

Quaintance was on the 2023 U16 National Team that secured the gold medal at the FIBA Men’s U16 Americas Championship in Merida, Mexico. As for Fland, he was a member of the 2022 U17 National Team that won the gold medal at the FIBA U17 Men’s World Cup in Malaga, Spain.
They hope to continue their winning ways with USA on their chests this spring before doing the same with Kentucky in Lexington next season.
