Quandre Mosely agrees to free-agent contract with Dallas Cowboys
Another Kentucky Wildcat has found an NFL home.
Fifth-year defensive back Quandre Mosely has agreed to a free-agent deal with the Dallas Cowboys after going undrafted in this weekend’s 2022 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-2 corner is now the eighth former Wildcat called up to the pros, joining draft picks Wan’Dale Robinson, Josh Paschal, Luke Fortner, and Darian Kinnard along with undrafted free agents Marquan McCall, Yusuf Corker, and Justin Rigg.
Mosely announced the news on his Instagram Story.
During his three-year career with Kentucky, Mosely appeared in 36 total games, including four starts. He played in all 13 games as a fifth-year senior in 2021, including two starts against New Mexico State and in the Citrus Bowl against Iowa. He registered 26 tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), and five pass breakups during his final season with the ‘Cats.
Mosely came to Lexington as a junior college product out of Eastern Arizona Community College, where he spent two seasons. The Georgia native was a wide receiver in high school before switching to defense. He chose Kentucky over the likes of Utah and Oregon. Mosely graduated in Dec. 2021 with a degree in community and leadership development.
