The spring transfer portal window opened up on Wednesday and redshirt freshman Jiquavious “Quavo” Marshall was one of the first Kentucky players to enter this free agent pool. Potential destinations are starting to emerge for the transfer with four years of eligibility remaining.

Quavo Marshall could be returning to the Peach State. Georgia State is expected to host the transfer for a visit.

The 6-foot-4 cornerback has published scholarship offers from Toledo, Western Michigan, Coastal Carolina, Ohio, Marshall, Liberty, and Appalachian State since entering the portal. A competitive Group of Five recruitment is occurring for the Kentucky transfer.

Quavo Marshall is the second Kentucky defensive back to enter the transfer portal joining Avery Stuart (Ball State). Marshall is the fourth member of UK’s 2024 high school signing class to enter the portal joining Daniel MinceyHardley Gilmore IV (Nebraska), and Caleb Redd (Kansas). Gilmore has since re-joined the roster.
