Quaysheed Scott reaffirms commitment to Kentucky during official visit
Marion (S.C.) High defensive back Quaysheed Scott was a surprise recruiting win for Kentucky back in July. At the time, the Wildcats were the only Power Five program involved in this recruitment. The three-star defensive back would then blow up after a strong senior season.
South Carolina issued a scholarship offer to the in-state prospect and hosted Scott for multiple unofficial visits during the season. With an official visit scheduled with the Gamecocks in December, there was some worry that Scott could end up flipping and joining Shane Beamer‘s program in Columbia.
That will no longer be the case. Quaysheed Scott confirmed on X this Sunday morning that he will no longer be visiting South Carolina and is completely locked in with the Wildcats during his official visit in Lexington.
