Quickley Not Feeling Recruitment Pressure

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="800"] USA Basketball[/caption] Immanuel Quickley is one four possible Wildcat recruits currently being coached by John Calipari in the FIBA Basketball World Cup. So has this affected any recruiting decisions for the five-star point guard? Coach Cal is not Quickley's recruiter in Egypt, he's Quickley's Team USA coach.  This week their relationship is strictly between point guard and coach. “There’s not really any pressure," Quickley said after today's game.  "I’m just out here playing basketball and having fun.” In a late June interview with KSR, Quickley admitted that Kentucky was his top choice because of his good rapport with Coach Calipari. Through the first three tournament games, Quickley averages 7.7 points (47% FG), 3.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per game. He is still considering Maryland, Miami, and Kansas and says a decision will be made at the beginning of senior year in the fall.  Maybe he can be swayed to Kentucky with a gold medal?
