The first official visit weekend at Kentucky ended with top-500 tackle Darrin Strey committing to the Wildcats. We also saw top-500 quarterback Stone Saunders bring his entire family down to Lexington. It was a busy few days for the football program. This upcoming weekend could be even busier.

Martels Carter, Brennen Ward, and Marquise Davis are commits visiting this weekend. They will be joined by four-star wide receiver Quintin Simmons.

Kentucky’s only wide receiver commit is making the short drive from Cincinnati to visit Lexington. It’s setting up to be a big weekend for that position. Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch senior Samari Reed will be on campus. Danville (Ky.) Boyle County senior Montavin Quisenberry could be on campus for his third official visit of June after attending a camp at Kentucky on Monday.

The Wildcats are down to eight scholarship wide receivers entering 2024 and could see the room hit with some heavy turnover. Locking up at least three high school prospects in this cycle seems like a must. Quintin Simmons is locked up and can now help the coaching staff close on a few targets.

Wide receiver will not be the only position involved. Cleveland area tight end Brody Lennon is Kentucky’s top target at tight end. Enterprise (Ala.) High senior Andrew Purcell is a top target at cornerback. Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch senior Bryan Auguste is someone Kentucky could wrap up this weekend following official visits to Boston College and Syracuse. Kentucky will also be looking to break out the spatula as they try to flip UCF cornerback commit Demarcus Gardner.

A busy weekend is on deck.
