Railbird Announces 2023 Lineup for New Red Mile Location
Lexington’s Railbird Festival is taking its talents to a new location with a loaded lineup.
The music festival has featured its fair share of problems over the years. After a successful debut at Keeneland in 2019, it was canceled by COVID in 2020. The following year 30,000 fans flocked to The Hill and were met with long lines and exhausting heat. Following the logistical nightmare, Railbird canceled the 2022 festival, with promises to return better than ever in 2023.
Railbird will return in 2023 to the Infield at Red Mile. The two-day event will take place June 3-4 and feature over 30 musical acts. Zach Bryan and Weezer will headline day one, followed by Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and Tyler Childers on Sunday. This is Tyler Childers’ second headlining show at Railbird.

Following the demise of Louisville’s Forecastle Festival, this is now the premier music festival in the state of Kentucky. You have a personal promise from Nick Roush that Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats will be amazing. Their show in the Churchill Downs Infield during 2022’s Thurby was an all-timer. I digress.
Presale tickets will hit the open market just in time for Christmas, rolling out Thursday, Dec. 8 at Noon. Sign up now to secure your spot at the Red Mile Infield next summer.
