After a tough loss last night in the SEC opener in Athens, Gary Henderson and the gang responded in a big way Saturday afternoon, burying Georgia 11-4. Let's get to the box score and a few quick notes from the win so we can get back to this basketball game that's apparently on right now.

Dustin Beggs is on another level. The senior continued his incredible start to 2016 by notching his fifth straight W (and in really impressive fashion).
Can't ask for much better than that, folks; especially through eight innings and against an SEC-caliber lineup. Let's hope Beggs can be this consistent throughout conference play. An outing like that every Saturday completely flips the momentum after last night's tough loss, and sets up starter Kyle Cody to close the door on the series when he takes the mound tomorrow afternoon.Beggs threw first-pitch strikes to 24 of the 27 hitters he faced (!). Threw just 80 pitches, 58 going for strikes.
