Good evening, folks! We’re back with another edition of KSR’s offer roundup, where we briefly touch on the recruits who recently picked up scholarships from the Kentucky football staff. With camp season officially over, the offers being handed out are fewer and farther in between, but there were still a handful of significant scholarships sent out over the last two weeks. Let’s dive right in.

Class of 2023
Curley Reed: 6-1, 190-pound CB | Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA)
4-star, No. 144 overall; No. 15 CB
Curley Reed is the most recent offer handed out from the Kentucky coaching staff over the last two weeks, and he might be the most talented among the group. Considered a high-four-star recruit, the rising senior dropped a top 12 in May, headlined by the likes of Oregon, Florida State, LSU, Auburn, Southern California, and others. But Kentucky defensive backs coach Chris Collins reached out to Reed with a scholarship on Wednesday.
This summer, Curley took visits to the likes of LSU, TCU, Oregon, and Washington, which all made his top 12. He actually missed his entire junior year due to an ACL tear but has continued to rack up offers in spite of that setback. Washington holds the lead for his services as of right now, according to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), although the ‘Cats will see if they can wiggle their way into contention.
Darius Cannon: 5-10, 170-pound WR | Gainesville High School (Gainesville, GA)
unranked
The first SEC offer for Darius Cannon came from UK and wide receivers coach Scott Woodward back on June 25. The soon-to-be high school senior camped in Lexington over the summer and earned a scholarship shortly after from the ‘Cats. Cannon was busy throughout the month of June, camping at the likes of Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Duke, Liberty, Mississippi State, Louisville, and Vanderbilt. Only Kentucky offered him following those camps. Cannon previously earned offers from a trio of schools: UNLV, UT-Martin, and Tennessee Tech.
During his junior year at Gainesville (GA), Cannon caught 52 passes for 785 yards and eight touchdowns. He then went for four receptions, 100 yards, and a touchdown during the team’s spring game in late May. Cannon is proving to be a late stock riser and UK has positioned itself in position to make a move.
Class of 2024

The second nationally ranked prospect to recently earn a Kentucky scholarship was Cameron Frazier Jr., which came from associate head coach Vince Marrow on July 1. The three-star recruit holds additional offers from the likes of Michigan, Pittsburgh, and West Virginia, on top of several non-Power Five offers.
During the month of June, Frazier camped at Michigan, Tennessee, Louisville, Cincinnati, Ohio State, West Virginia, and Kentucky. Considering he’s a Columbus kid, Frazier has been hearing from Ohio State, too, although no offer has come in just yet from the Buckeyes. So far, Michigan has been the program generating the most mutual interest. Former Kentucky assistant coach Steve Clinkscale, now the defensive backs coach at Michigan, is leading the recruitment on the Wolverines’ end.
Dorian Williams: 6-3, 190-pound WR | Princeton (Cincinnati, OH)
unranked
Dorian Williams picked up his third Divison I offer on July 4 from Kentucky, which came from Coach Marrow. The rising high school junior previously received scholarships from Marshall (May 18) and Purdue (May 5). With that in mind, I’ll note that Williams has only been playing high school football for one season, his sophomore year. He’s a talented basketball player, as well, but appears to be taking football more seriously as the college interest builds.
Williams took multiple camp visits over the summer to get in front of more college coaches, traveling to the likes of Purdue, Louisville, and Kentucky. Expect his recruitment to heat up even more this fall.
Class of 2025
Nate Roberts: 6-4, 215-pound TE | Booker T. Washington (Norman, OK)
unranked
Already considered a high-level baseball prospect on the diamond, Nate Roberts is establishing himself as a force on the gridiron, too. The rising high school sophomore received an offer from Coach Marrow to play football at Kentucky on July 3, just his second Divison I scholarship opportunity, the other coming from North Texas. Roberts has camped this year at the likes of Oklahoma, North Texas, and Arkansas. His older brother, Jake Roberts, is a 6-foot-4 TE and rising junior at North Texas.
