Kentucky basketball target Reed Sheppard is now a five-star prospect.

Rivals updated its recruiting rankings for the class of 2023 on Friday, with Sheppard coming in at No. 21 overall, an 18-spot jump from the previous update. He’s now the No. 4 shooting guard in the class.

Following a breakout summer with Kentucky coaches in attendance at numerous events, Sheppard received a scholarship offer from the program back on July 9. UK joined the likes of Arizona State, Clemson, Indiana, Louisville, Ohio State and Virginia to extend offers.

Will that program be Kentucky?
