Kentucky basketball royalty has joined the Sources Say Podcast for a can’t-miss episode of the show. No. 3 overall draft pick Reed Sheppard is coming back to Rupp Arena, and he’s bringing special guests with him for his first annual Reed Sheppard FANtasy Experience from August 22-23.

The former Wildcat turned Rookie of the Year candidate joined the show with his sister, Madison Sheppard, to talk about Faith Day and the other aspects of his two-day event in Lexington later this month. How can you sign up and get involved with the Sheppards? What else can you expect from the FANtasy Experience, which also includes basketball (obviously), golf and a business summit?

Sheppard talks about that, along with his time at Kentucky, the NBA Draft, John Calipari’s departure and the Mark Pope hire, expectations going into his rookie season and what wearing blue and white meant to him for the one year he was able to represent his home state as a Wildcat.

Oh, and you get a brief cameo from Jeff Sheppard — a hilarious exchange between the Sheppards on family vacation.

Check out the interview with Reed and Madison, along with the rest of episode 345 of the Sources Say Podcast below:
