Reed Sheppard leads Kentucky to 41-36 halftime lead vs. Florida
After a back-and-forth start to get things rolling, the Cats used a 12-1 run to settle in with a 41-36 lead at halftime.
Down DJ Wagner (ankle) and Justin Edwards (knee), Reed Sheppard slid into the starting lineup to lead Kentucky with 11 points on 5-10 shooting with four rebounds and two assists, playing all 20 minutes. Antonio Reeves and Rob Dillingham were right behind with eight points apiece, followed by Tre Mitchelll and Ugonna Onyenso with four points each. As a team, the Cats are shooting 45.7% from the field and 54.5% from three while holding Florida to 36.4% overall and 45.5% from deep.
