WATCH: Reed Sheppard scores 26 points in win over Lexington Catholic

Reed Sheppard’s string of strong play to open his junior season continued Wednesday afternoon, leading North Laurel to an 81-78 victory over Lexington Catholic.
In a back-and-forth matchup to close out the White, Greer, and Maggard Holiday Classic, Sheppard finished with 26 points on 8-12 shooting, 4-7 from three and 6-6 from the line. He also added eight assists, four rebounds, four steals and three steals in the win.

Sheppard earned MVP honors at the King of the Bluegrass last week, averaging 29.8 points, 8.3 assists, 7.0 rebounds and 6.3 steals. He combined for 70 points and 18 rebounds in the final two games of the event.
He followed it up by averaging 29.75 points in four games at the White, Greer, and Maggard Holiday Classic, including a 50-point performance against PRP on day two.
Not too shabby.
