Reed Sheppard to wear No. 15 at Kentucky (and other jersey numbers)

Like father, like son. 30 years after Jeff Sheppard began his career as a Kentucky basketball standout, his son Reed will be sporting the same uniform number.
Sheppard, No. 15 will return to Lexington this upcoming season, KSR has learned (or seen, rather). KSR’s rockstar photographer Dr. Michael Huang participated in John Calipari’s Father-Son Camp in Lexington with his son Gabriel, providing exclusive interaction with the upcoming Kentucky basketball team and a look at the facilities.
Included in the camp? A walkthrough of the locker room, where nameplates are already up for the players on campus. Among them? Reed Sheppard‘s No. 15 jersey.

Reeves’ locker remains up, a sign the Wildcats haven’t counted out a potential return for the senior guard.
The locker room tour was just part of a fun-filled evening at Calipari’s Father-Son Camp. As Dr. Mike and his son were participating, KSR photographer Aaron Perkins captured his own photos of the event, featuring the newest Wildcats hanging out with the fans.
