Reid Travis re-signed with pro team in Japan
Former Kentucky forward Reid Travis will run it back in Japan for another season of professional basketball.
Travis announced via Instagram that he re-signed with the Shimane Susanoo Magic of the B League, Japan’s top basketball league.
“Blessed to have signed back with @shimane_susanoo_magic_official for another season in Japan! 🇯🇵✍🏽🙏🏽,” Travis wrote. “This season is going to be straight 🦍 mode! Can’t wait to get back in front of the fans.”

Last season Travis averaged 16.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in 42 games played. The Shimane Susanoo Magic went 28-32 on the year.
Prior to re-signing, Travis got another shot at the NBA at this summer’s NBA Summer League, playing in three games with the New York Knicks with one start.
