The Wildcats went into enemy territory last week, but if you were in the crowd, you’d have thought the game was in Lexington. Kentucky smacked Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center by a score of 95-76. Veteran guard Antonio Reeves was the star with 30 points on the night, including 22 in the first half. UK led by 20 at the halftime break before cruising in the second half.
On Wednesday night, the talented folks over at UK Sports Video dropped a highlight video from the rivalry win. It was basically nothing but Reeves buckets and that Rob Dillingham windmill dunk, but it’ll make you smile ear-to-ear regardless — especially once you see John Calipari’s face when he’s told the crowd is looking mostly blue.
After an eight-day break, Kentucky (9-2) returns to action on Friday night at Rupp Arena to host Illinois State (8-4) at 7:30 p.m. EST on the SEC Network.
