UK Athletics is still planning for full capacity at both Big Blue Madness and every home game this season for the Men’s Basketball Team. The same will be true for the Women’s Basketball Team, which will play one game at Rupp Arena during the 2021-22 season when DePaul comes to town on Dec. 9.
That being said, masks will be required for all guests, staff and vendors, regardless of their vaccination status. Below is more information on masks, courtesy of UK Athletics:
Fans will not be required to show proof of vaccination to enter Rupp Arena, but face coverings – covering the nose and mouth – are required for all fans as they watch the game from their assigned seat and enter, exit and move around Rupp Arena. Children 2 and younger will not be required to wear a mask. If spectators are unable to wear masks, they are encouraged not to attend games in person for the sake of their health and the health of others.
