Report: Matt House will remain defensive coordinator
After this morning’s news that UK will add a 10th assistant to the football coaching staff, Joe Mussatto is reporting that Mark Stoops plans to keep defensive coordinator Matt House in his current position.
This was House’s first season as defensive coordinator after being promoted from inside linebackers coach. Kentucky ranks 12th in the SEC and 94th in the country in total defense, allowing 426 total yards per game. While the unit is eighth in the SEC in rush defense, they are dead last in pass defense, allowing a league-high 263.5 passing yards per game.
