Rhyne Howard continues to climb the scoring ladder in her final season as a Wildcat. On Thursday night, the Kentucky Women’s Basketball senior guard jumped into third on the program’s all-time scoring list, moving past Victoria Dunlap.

Howard, who dropped 30 points in UK’s massive 84-76 win over the No. 15 Georgia Bulldogs in Memorial Coliseum, now has 1,872 career points. She surpassed two former Wildcats, Leslie Nichols and Makayla Epps, in the same game back in December, along with her one-time teammate Maci Morris a few games before that.

In all likelihood, Howard will finish her Kentucky career second all-time in points scored if she stays on her current pace. Barring any more postponements, UK currently has 14 games left in the regular season, plus the postseason tournaments. Howard is just 142 points away from tying A’dia Mathies for second-most in program history.
