Kentucky fans can get one more look at Rhyne Howard in the blue and white before she heads off to the 2022 WNBA Draft.

The three-time All-American guard is set to participate in the 2022 State Farm College 3-Point Championship at Xavier University of Louisiana’s Convocation Center in New Orleans on Thursday, March 31. Howard is one of women eight tabbed to the shootout, which will air live at 9:00 p.m. EST on ESPN. Eight men’s players will participate in their own shootout before a winner from each side meets in a head-to-head championship round.

The 3-Point Championship is just half of the event, which includes the annual Slam Dunk Championship, as well. Former Wildcat sharpshooters Maci Morris and Sabrina Haines were both selected as participants in previous years.

During her four-year Kentucky career, Howard shot 38.2 percent from beyond the 3-point arc on 744 total attempts. She never shot worse than 37 percent from deep in a single season as a ‘Cat, including a 38.3 percent mark as a senior in 2021-22. Howard is still up for multiple individual awards, including National Player of the Year.

Howard has yet to officially declare for the 2022 WNBA Draft, which is scheduled for Monday, April 11, although that announcement is expected to come sooner rather than later. She is currently projected as the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, according to ESPN.
