Sahvir Wheeler, TyTy Washington both declared OUT vs. LSU
Kentucky will be without its two lead guards against the LSU Tigers on Wednesday, as Sahvir Wheeler and TyTy Washington have both been declared out.
Wheeler (wrist) and Washington (ankle) both missed Kentucky’s comeback win vs. Alabama on Saturday after previously missing the tail end of the team’s loss at Tennessee. Washington suffered his leg injury during Kentucky’s home win vs. Florida back on February 12.

With both guards out vs. Alabama, Kellan Grady and Davion Mintz were forced to play 39 minutes apiece, with the former scoring 25 points and the latter adding seven. The guard duo combined for just two turnovers, with the team finishing with seven total as a team.
Kentucky was forced to play without Wheeler and Washington for much of the team’s loss at LSU back on Jan. 4, with the former suffering a neck injury on a hard pick in the first half and the latter dealing with cramps in the second. They would combine for just five points in the road loss.
How will Grady and Mintz do in the rematch game vs. LSU?
