Santa Lunardi gifted us a new Bracketology featuring Kentucky vs. Indiana
Just when we thought Christmas was over and the final present had been opened, Joe Lunardi slid down the chimney with a new Bracketology in his bag.
In this new Christmas edition of the Bracketology, Lunardi bumped Kentucky from a No. 5 to a No. 4 seed following the Wildcats’ win at Louisville and other results throughout college basketball. ESPN’s NCAA Tournament projection now has Kentucky playing its opening weekend of the tournament in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, part of the Midwest Region of the still-way-too-early bracket. The Midwest plays its Sweet 16 and Elite Rounds in Detroit, Michigan.
Also in Lunardi’s new Midwest: No. 1 seed Purdue, No. 2 seed Florida Atlantic, and No. 3 seed Clemson are the three higher-seeded teams chasing a Final Four spot with Kentucky. However, the first-round draw may be the most frightening as the Cats see No. 13 seed Indiana in the first game of the current Bracketology projection.
