Owensboro beats Madisonville-North Hopkins 38-28 in KSR Game of the Week

With only one Top 25 matchup on the schedule, Week 10 of the Kentucky high school football season saw plenty of blowouts as District play rolled along. However, we were treated to one unexpected upset up in Louisville as Kentucky Country Day (7-2) pulled off a massive 20-18 upset of previously undefeated No. 21 Campbellsville (8-1) — a significant outcome for the top of Class A. For reference, On3’s Massey Ratings projected a 37-14 win for Campbellsville.

Elsewhere, No. 12 Ashland Blazer won a 41-36 shootout against No. 23 Johnson Central in the lone Top 25 game of the week. Another close, high-scoring affair between Hopkinsville and Allen County-Scottsville (which is receiving votes in the latest Top 25 rankings) saw ACS come out on top 36-34. The KSR Game of the Week saw Owensboro (also receiving votes) sneak past Madisonville-North Hopkins 38-28.
