SEC Basketball Schedule (with dates) coming next week, per report

Early next week, we’ll know Kentucky Basketball’s complete schedule. Jon Rothstein just tweeted that the 2024-25 SEC Basketball schedule — with dates — is expected to be released on Tuesday, August 20, meaning we are just a handful of days away from knowing exactly when John Calipari’s Arkansas Razorbacks will come to Rupp Arena to face Mark Pope’s Wildcats.

We already know the teams Kentucky will face in conference play. Back in May, the SEC revealed each team’s opponents. Kentucky will play all 15 teams in the conference, and Alabama, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt twice. Nine of those 18 games will take place at Rupp Arena and another nine on the road.

Kentucky Basketball 2024-25 Schedule

Today, we got some more pieces to the scheduling puzzle. This morning, UK announced that both the men’s and women’s basketball teams would hold their Blue/White Games at Memorial Coliseum on Oct. 18, marking the first time the men’s event has taken place there since 2006. We also found out that Kentucky will host Kentucky Wesleyan in its first exhibition game on October 23 at Rupp Arena. Six days later, Minnesota State will come to town for Kentucky’s second exhibition, which Myron Medcalf, a Mankato alum, tipped us off to earlier this summer.
