You can bet on the next team to join the SEC and Big Ten

Conference realignment is the talk of college sports following last week’s news that USC and UCLA will join the Big Ten. That will bring the number of schools in the Big Ten to 16, which will match the SEC once Oklahoma and Texas join the fold in 2025; however, the past few years have shown us we’d be naive to think it will stop there.
With the Big Ten reportedly closing in on a new TV rights deal worth $1 billion, the arms race is on, to the point Vegas is getting in on the fun. This afternoon, Bovada released odds on which teams will be the next to join the SEC and Big Ten. Some of the current SEC members’ biggest rivals, including Kentucky’s, are near the top.
