Cole Cubelic is one of our favorite football guys here at Kentucky Sports Radio and he’s about to get some well-deserved shine. Cubelic and Roman Harper will host Read & React, a new show on the SEC Network on Monday nights. The two, who played at rival schools Auburn and Alabama, will recap the weekend in the SEC, breaking down key plays, players, units, and teams that stood out. Read & React premieres Monday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. ET.

In addition to the new weekly show, Cubelic will continue his field analyst position on the SEC Network’s Saturday night game alongside Tom Hart and Jordan Rodgers. Harper will continue his role on SEC Nation and SEC Now. In other SEC Network programming news, Takeo Spikes will join Alyssa Lang on Out of Pocket Presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors starting Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. ET.

Now, if we could only get Listicuffs on the SEC Network lineup, we’d be set. Cole, as a previous guest, can you put in a good word?

SEC Nation kicks off season in CoMo and Nashville

SEC Nation, the SEC Network’s Saturday pregame show, begins its 10th season this year. They’ll kick Week 1 off in Columbia, Missouri on Thursday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. ET ahead of the Tigers’ season opener vs. South Dakota. On Saturday, SEC Nation will be live from a set on Lower Broadway in Nashville to preview the day’s games, including No. 12 Tennessee vs. Virginia at Nissan Stadium. The show starts at 10 a.m. ET and will be preceded by Marty & McGee, also live from Nashville, at 9 a.m. ET.

College Gameday gets a new intro

College Gameday, ESPN’s flagship pregame show, will be in Charlotte, North Carolina this Saturday ahead of the “Battle of the Carolinas,” North Carolina vs. South Carolina, at Bank of America Stadium. If you missed the news last week, the show will feature a new version of “Comin’ To Your City” this year, as Big & Rich hand over the duties to Darius Rucker, Lainey Wilson, and The Cadillac 3 after 16 years.

Ryan Lemond’s Saturday mornings just got even better.
