Shaedon Sharpe never played a game at Kentucky despite being available from the moment the talented wing stepped on campus in January and attended school for the spring semester. Despite the lack of live reps, there is major value for multiple-level scorers with length in the NBA. Sharpe brings great size to the table with a 6-11 wingspan on a frame just under 6-6 to go along with a smooth jump-shooting touch. The early enrollee at Kentucky did not participate in many drills at the combine in Chicago, but it was clear to many in attendance that the prospect is a real talent.
Now that the expected news is now public, John Calipari and his program can officially move on. All players are expected to report to campus this week as unofficial team activities get set to begin over the summer.
