Shai Gilgeous-Alexander named Most Stylish NBA Player by GQ
Former Kentucky Wildcat Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been named the NBA’s “Most Stylish Player” by GQ Magazine.
SGA’s pathway to the championship, which pitted 16 players against one another, saw him defeat another BBN alum Jarred Vanderbilt in the opening round before moving past Kelly Oubre Jr. and Jayson Tatum.
“The guy cares about getting dressed and he seems to be getting better at it with each year, which is flat-out scary,” the magazine wrote about Gilgeous-Alexander. “With the Thunder angling to pour the gas on their rebuild, expect to see more Shai on your TVs next year—and more killer Shai fits, too.”
Gilgeous-Alexander also styling with on-court play
While clearly winning the off-the-court display of fashion, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has also turned himself into one of the game’s brightest young stars.
Despite missing the end of the year with an injury, the Oklahoma City guard averaged 24.5 points, 5.9 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game. His year was highlighted by a run that saw him score 30+ in seven of eight games with the lone miss having him at 29.

The Thunder, as a whole, struggled mightly finishing with a 24-58 mark. They will feature a pair of lottery picks in this month’s NBA Draft to try and get SGA some much-needed help.
Gilgeous-Alexander started his career with the Clippers but was traded to the Thunder following his rookie campaign. He has added to his points per game total every season in the league despite battling injury trouble during his short career.
If the Thunder have a successful draft, they could turn into one of the league’s up-and-coming teams all centered around Gilgeous-Alexander.
Maybe, if the rookies are lucky, he will even throw in some fashion tips.
