Shea Patterson will transfer, but don't get your hopes up

Faced with back-to-back postseason bans, seniors are eligible to transfer and play immediately.  Patterson does not fit into that criteria, but he's still searching for a new home to play college football.  247 reports Ole Miss has granted Patterson permission to speak to other programs. Even though Patterson would have to sit for a season, I'm sure most Kentucky fans would welcome him with open arms.  Unfortunately, they can't.  Ole Miss has restricted Patterson from transferring to SEC schools and opponents that are on Ole Miss' schedule for the next two years. Patterson is out of the picture, but the guy who crushed Kentucky at Kroger Field this year is not.  Jordan Ta'amu was a junior college transfer who has one year of eligibility remaining.  Ta'amu can transfer and play right away.  He was so good at Kroger Field this fall, why not run it back seven more times in 2018?
