De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk will forever be one (two?) of us. Two of the most entertaining backcourt pieces in recent memory for Kentucky basketball, the Sacramento Kings duo haven’t let the fame and fortune allow them to forget their roots as Wildcats.

The Kings pulled a prank on their players during a recent autograph session, including their former college rivals as items to sign, hidden in a stack of jerseys and photos. Fox was the first, lifting a black and purple No. 5 jersey to reveal a taped-on North Carolina logo — a dagger straight to the heart for that 2016-17 Kentucky team.

Fox’s response? Silently snatching the logo off the jersey and ripping it up into a million pieces before throwing it on the floor where it belongs.

“I had North Carolina winning that game,” Keegan Murray told the former Wildcat.

“Where are all of those guys now?” Fox responded.

Good point. Anyone know what Kennedy Meeks and Luke Maye are up to?

While Fox let his actions describe his feelings toward the Tar Heels, Monk wasn’t so subtle when a Louisville logo was revealed during his autograph session.

No hesitation, pure hatred. It was beautifully executed.

“I ain’t signing this. **** Louisville, I went to Kentucky,” Monk said.

Heated and confused, the former Wildcat finally found the camera and realized he was the subject of the prank.

“You playing around and ****?”
